Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Hello,

Gas trouble or bloating is seen as a common feature in majority of patients. It is primarily due to improper functioning of the digestive system which is causing this issue. Acidity or acid reflux is seen as a prime factor which is seen responsible for bloating or gas trouble.

Pranayama or breathing exercise is the one which shall be initially practiced here. This exercise apart from improving lung capacity will enrich oxygen supply to all tissues of the body easily. Thus it enables proper functioning of all systems including the digestive system.

Meditation is yet another practice which will reduce gas trouble or other symptoms related to it. Practice it for 30 minutes everyday and must be learned from an experienced yoga master.

Chief yoga postures which are found helpful in this condition include apanasana, sethu bandha sarvangasana, paschimottamasana and marjaryasana. These postures are found very much helpful in reducing gas trouble to a very great extend. It shall be noted that these yoga postures will not give sudden results and will have to be practiced constantly for the best outcome.

Yoga for gastric troubles

Early morning after Kunjal kriya, practice few yogasanas & then practice asana, which will strengthen the stomach.

After the four navel exercises – practice Katichakrasana, Urdhvahasthotasana, Padhastasana, Suptapavanmuktasana, Bhujangasana, Vajrasana, Mandookasana, Kurmasana, Mayurasana,

In pranayam practice Bhastrika & Surya bhedi, Agnisar & Naouli kriya, which has magical affect.
